I truly believe that if you love what you do, it doesn't feel like work. That's exactly how I feel. I get to spend my days playing with computers and teaching others how to do the same! I've been teaching Microsoft for over 30 years, and whether it's a beginner Word class or something more advanced like Excel Analyzing Data or Microsoft Access, I never get bored and it always feels fresh.
My main goal is to help people in administrative positions master Microsoft Office products. I know how challenging it can be to navigate through programs like Excel or Access on your own. That's where I come in – to make the learning process easier, relaxing, and more effective. My strengths lie in my patience, understanding, and expert knowledge.
I believe that the best way to effectively teach software is to have an in-depth understanding of the product. That's why I make it a point to use every Office product regularly.
I find that a hands-on, instructor-led training style is the most productive learning experience. Additionally, I firmly believe in the power of repetition. It is the key to learning. If you practice something enough, it starts to become second nature.
Keeping up with the changes in Microsoft Office takes up a significant portion of my free time. There's always something new to learn, and I strive to remain a student of my craft.
My client base includes top companies such as, NCIS (Navel Criminal Investigative Service), the United States Department of Defense Forensic Science Center, Veterans Administration, Accenture, National Cash Register (NCR), Emory University, North Georgia Medical Center, AT&T, Wells Fargo, The Home Depot, PepsiCo, Cocoa Cola, Merrill Lynch, Locum Tenens, Delta Airlines and many more. I have also taught countless amazing individuals who simply need skills for a new job or just want to advance their careers.
I am the mother of a very gifted 37 year-old son who is a Financial Planner in the Buckhead area of Atlanta; I am also the wife of a retired Management Consultant for a firm based in Atlanta.
When I am not glued to my computer, I enjoy playing tennis, boating, fishing, roller skating, and playing with my two amazing Goldendoodles. I also enjoy painting, working in acrylic, oil, and watercolor. My mom sent me to art classes when I was 10 years old and have been painting ever since. I find it joyful and relaxing.
